Dr. Head v. UCLA: Gorilla Warfare

Congratulations to Dr. Christian Head, a Black surgeon and UCLA professor who won $4.5 million in a racial discrimination lawsuit against the UC Board of Regents. The complaint said that during a resident graduation event in 2006, a slide show that was created by the residents and reviewed by staff included a photo in which Head's face was superimposed onto a gorilla that was being sodomized by the Caucasian department chairman.

This writer knows how shocked and hurt Dr. Head must have been to see his own face superimposed on an gorilla, an animal that prejudice Caucasians often associate with Black people. I was similarly surprised when the "www" in a number of my Care2 links was replaced with the word "primate," and the link's users were directed to a photo of a large, black gorilla instead of to my articles the links should have reached. SOPA was a Congressional bill that provided for YOUR links to be redirected for censorship, also, but it was widely contested and was withdrawn in 2012. Censorship and persecution against Mary Neal and her family continue, however, in order to impede effectiveness as a human and civil rights advocate and suppress news about the wrongful death of Larry Neal and denial of due process of law. The $4.5 million agreement between Dr. Head and the UC Board of Regents settled the lawsuit, filed in April 2012, that accused the university of failing to prevent discrimination, harassment and retaliation against Dr. Head. The head and neck surgeon alleged that he was retaliated against for filing complaints through normal channels and was denied teaching opportunities. Dr. Head, 51, also alleged that he was routinely publicly humiliated. Without admitting fault or liability, the university acknowledged that "an inappropriate slide was shown" and regrets the incident, the university's statement said. LA Times carried the news online
http://articles.latimes.com/2012/apr/20/local/la-me-0420-ucla-lawsuit-20120420 .

The UC Board of Regents is to be congratulated for settling the matter after Dr. Head's lawsuit was filed instead of relying on censorship and terrorism which my family undergoes to prevent disclosure about my brother's wrongful death and The Cochran Firm fraud. It is extremely discouraging and seems dangerous that physicians anywhere hate Black people and perceive us as being suitable objects for their ridicule.

Many defendants in criminal matters and plaintiffs in civil actions use online services to gain support for their causes and inform the public about objectionable practices. Dr. Head posted a petition for justice online and a video about his humiliation on YouTube that received nearly 300,000 views. Ms. Shannon Foley, of Foley Lyman Law Group, spoke on the video about Dr. Head's victimization and was presumably his attorney. Congratulations to the employment lawyers! Congratulations to all parties for reaching an out-of-court settlement!

  1. ★★★FRAUD ALERT!★★★

Beware of The Cochran Firm fraud. Try to get a real lawyer like Ms. Foley who won't collude with your defendants behind your back.
